<image:title>WELCOME</image:title>
<image:caption>OUR FARM has been rooted in sustainable growing practices since 2003. We believe the way food and ingredients are grown matters — not only for the quality of what we produce, but for the long-term health of the land itself. From cover crops and crop rotation to organic amendments and regenerative farming practices, we are committed to working with nature rather than against it. At Sasanoa Brewing, that philosophy carries directly into our beer. We brew with thoughtfully sourced ingredients, many of which are grown right here on the farm, alongside locally sourced grains, hops, fruits, herbs, and wild foraged ingredients from throughout New England. We are proud to support neighboring farms, small growers, and artisanal malt houses that share our values and commitment to quality. From marigolds and chamomile to berries, herbs, and seasonal harvests, our farm and surrounding landscape continue to inspire the beers we create.</image:caption>

<image:title>WELCOME - SOLAR POWERED</image:title>
<image:caption>WE BELIEVE many of the same principles apply to energy as to farming. We want an organic, natural approach that works with Mother Nature instead of against her. Like our meat, we want to know where the power we are using comes from, so like our decision to use cover crops instead of chemicals, we’re replacing fossil fuels with solar power. Since September of 2017 we have been offsetting a portion of our electrical usage with solar panels. Liberty, ME-based ReVision Energy installed a 10.8-kilowatt grid-tied solar electric system on the roof of our farm barn. When the sun is shining, the 36 solar panels produce electricity that is either used in real-time by the farm and brewery, or fed back to the grid where it benefits our community (and earns us a credit). Each year, the system will generate roughly 13,255 kilowatt-hours (kWhs) of electricity, offsetting the equivalent of over 22,900 miles driven in a gas-powered car. See what our system is producing, both today and across its lifetime> TARBOX PRODUCTION</image:caption>
