<image:title>WELCOME - SOLAR POWERED</image:title>
<image:caption>WE BELIEVE many of the same principles apply to energy as to farming. We want an organic, natural approach that works with Mother Nature instead of against her. Like our meat, we want to know where the power we are using comes from, so like our decision to use cover crops instead of chemicals, we’re replacing fossil fuels with solar power. Since September of 2017 we have been offsetting a portion of our electrical usage with solar panels. Liberty, ME-based ReVision Energy installed a 10.8-kilowatt grid-tied solar electric system on the roof of our farm barn. When the sun is shining, the 36 solar panels produce electricity that is either used in real-time by the farm and brewery, or fed back to the grid where it benefits our community (and earns us a credit). Each year, the system will generate roughly 13,255 kilowatt-hours (kWhs) of electricity, offsetting the equivalent of over 22,900 miles driven in a gas-powered car. See what our system is producing, both today and across its lifetime> TARBOX PRODUCTION</image:caption>

<image:title>WELCOME - MOFGA CERTIFIED</image:title>
<image:caption>OUR FARM has been certified organic by MOFGA since 2005. Being certified organic is important to us because it lets our customers know that we care about the products we produce and that the land that these products are grown on has been cared for in a healthy and sustainable manner. We are proud to be one of the few certified organic breweries in the country. With only a few certified organic breweries in the country, organic ingredients are also hard to come by. We hope that with more consumer awareness, organic breweries and the farms that grow these ingredients will grow. Our search for organic ingredients starts at our farm and spreads from there. We have an abundance of certified fruit, herbs, nuts, and wild foraged ingredients to choose from. Throughout New England there has been a resurgence of local grain and hop farmers as well as artisanal malt houses that have helped supply the ever growing craft beer industry. We are lucky that we can support our neighbors and local communities who grow and nurture organic ingredients.</image:caption>
